Role Overview:

 

To direct and manage the sales team to ensure successful distribution of LSI products to client investors in accordance with the distribution sales plan, working closely with Structured Securitisation, DCM Corporate and FI and Sales & Derivatives Structuring.

 

Hybrid position with an expected 3 – 4 days in the New York office.

 

Responsibilities

 

Key Tasks and Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  •  Manage and develop business relationships with investors within the assigned client base in order to generate reverse enquiries and place bonds with clients, resulting in income generation.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of client activities & requirements and to ensure that products marketed by LSI are represented to clients appropriately.
  • Work closely with Bond Syndicate, DCM Corporate and FI, Term Securitisation and Credit Trading to distribute bonds and support secondary bond activity.
  • Work with structuring and other relevant product areas to include profitable transactions and help redistribute risk.
  • Coordinate closely with operations to make sure that all transactions are settled in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Review changes in investor attitudes, ensuring suitable solutions are identified and the relationship is managed effectively.
  • Monitor up to date market events and current affairs and to thoroughly understand the workings and technicals of all structured credit products that LBG is involved in marketing.
  • Ensure that clients are happy with the coverage they receive, and have a good understanding of the sectors within the market where LBG operates.
  • Actively record relationship/ client details, client activities and client transactions
  • Always to undertake the duties of this role in accordance with the requirements of SEC, FINRA and all other regulators of LSI and its affiliates.
  • Maintaining appropriate SEC licenses and complying with ongoing continuing education requirements.
  • Mentoring and leadership experience across credit products.
  • Lead, motivate, develop and appraise team members so that their individual and collective performance is of the required standard and meets the current and future needs of the business.

 

Qualifications

 

Education and experience required: 

  • Delivering Business Results
  • Proven track record of structured sales and other credit products
  • Skills, language and appropriate active investor base (‘real money’ investors) to support geographical areas
  • 10+ years relevant experience
  • MBA desired
  • Licenses: FINRA Series 7 & 63 required and 24 preferred

Salary Range: $250,000 - $340,000
