Role Overview: Lloyds Banking Group is a leading project finance bank - the top Project Finance bank in the UK since 2018 and growing steadily in the US since 2021. Infrastructure & Project Finance Credit (“I&PF Credit”) is the credit team which supports this business area. We are the 2nd line of defense and a key facet within Corporate Institutional Banking Credit. The team is responsible for the independent credit analysis of facilities provided to counterparties involved in the infrastructure and project finance sectors. Our main asset classes are Renewables, PFI/PPP, Economic and Digital Infrastructure. Our aim is to be a best-in-class credit function supporting a market-leading franchise and support new growth opportunities. For many years Lloyds has had a significant NY presence and its importance is growing – the office includes today a small first line Infrastructure & Project Finance team, as well as teams responsible for Corporate and Financial Institutions Coverage and Credit. Given our growth plans for the US market we are now expanding the I&PF Credit team through the addition of a Director (Senior Credit Officer) role in our NY office – the successful candidate will work closely with the Credit team in London and with front line colleagues in both the NY and London offices. The new role will facilitate the ongoing management of the book and the continued growth of the franchise. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team. You will play a central role in delivering the Group’s Sustainability agenda by applying your structured finance experience in support of the transition towards renewable energy, with a clear focus on risk. This is a key senior management role that will in due course carry line management responsibility.
