Responsibilities

          

Key Tasks and Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist the VP with the month-end close of the local general ledger (Flexcube), ensuring the US Branch financials and associated subsidiaries are accurately represented and align to Group Minimum Standards.
  • Support the timely submission of local USD financials into the Group ledger (SAP) for –WD1 to WD4/5 ensuring accurate ledger reporting in the UK.
  • Assist the team to ensure effective operation of the local control framework. Ensuring all balances are substantiated and reconciled. Tasks include but not limited to journal entries, the sub-attestation process and journal log testing.
  • Assist the VP when reviewing Group system responsibilities such as AOC, GDRS and ICS
  • Assist the team to ensure GMS (Group Minimum Standards), IFRS and SOX compliance across the Financial Control Framework
  • Assist the VP supporting the Broker-Dealer, including but not limited to the production of the Daily Net Capital calculation for our broker-dealer business. Ensuing relationships with both broker-dealer Sales, Compliance and Finances colleagues are managed effectively.

 

Qualifications

 

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2+ years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Preferred working knowledge and understanding of commercial banking products inc. Financial Markets

 Salary Range: $105,000 - $120,000
